This is something I came across on Facebook. I'm not sure if it works. It's been a long time since I had an anxiety attack, but I wish I had had anything at all to try back then.
This is called grounding. It can help when you feel like you have lost all control of your surroundings.
Look around you.
Find:
- 5 things you can see
- 4 things you can touch
- 3 things you can hear
- 2 things you can smell
- 1 thing you can taste
